Dealing with School Bullying

Bullying in schools is widespread and often goes unreported. It is perhaps the number one source of student security concerns. While parents look to the police for guidance, the most effective responses must come from school administrators. Physical, verbal and psychological attacks occur at all grade levels, with grammar school students being bullied the most frequently. While the rates decline during junior high and even further in high school, the criminal aspects may not. When some victims reach the breaking point, school shootings force everyone to re-look at efforts to identify and address the problem.
