Suicide Prevention: Understanding Suicide In this training we will focus on understanding suicide and look into the risk factors and warning signs often present in persons with suicidal ideation. We will define the psychological autopsy and look at the connections between mental illness and suicide. We will examine how suicide affects many people in different categories including the PTSD, LGBT community, persons with mental illness, the elderly and law enforcement professionals.
Human Trafficking Human Trafficking is universally recognized as modern day slavery. It is forcing people to do things against their will, under the threat of violence or some other form of punishment, and is the fastest growing commercial business in the world. This MPI training is inclusive of information taken from our basic understanding program of 2011, and infused with new information to bring you up to date with the anti-human trafficking laws in Massachusetts.

Bullying, Suicide and The Police This MPI training defines bullying as unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. Whether looking at this training from a law enforcement perspective or otherwise, we encourage you to take appropriate action whenever or wherever bullying presents itself.
